HEALTH≠OR=Mc?

~~honesty is the best policy~~

"honesty is the best policy" ,life is easier when we tell the truth.i have felt this way ever since i read the story of Pinocchio, the little marionette whose wooden nose grew whenever h told a lie.it just seems better to deal with the truth.as a result, there are no surprises or stories that  don't match up.it also helps people treat themselves with more sef-respect and in turn, others will treat them in a more dignified manner.lying to others is lying to oneself.if everyone were honest,we'd all feel better in our personal lives and in dealing at work......
what do you think....?????......            the rumor to say 100 times is the truth??

Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing

I still remember the vivid picture of the night when Beijing successfully won its bid to host the Olympic Games. All people, from officials to taxi drivers and even overseas Chinese cheered with happiness and tears. At that time, I was just a college student and from that day on, the Olympics were imprinted in my heart.

Six years later, I become one of you—a governmental official of BAIC. During these years, I kept asking myself, “What can I do for the Olympics?” As we all know, China pledged to the world that 2008 would be the year of the “Green Olympics.” Therefore, the government has made a great effort to protect the environment, save resources, and keep the ecological balance. To let the dream of a Green Olympics come true, not only the government, but all of us should lend a hand. Take me, for example. I am trying my best to add a trait of green to our Green Olympics, too.

In my daily life, I began to save every drop of water when I heard that five million children died each year just for lack of drinking water. I started to use public transport when I learnt that automobile exhaust is a major source of pollution in Beijing. I protect every path of green and make full use of the natural light. At my work, I also have organized programs and campaigns publicizing the Olympics and raising consciousness of environmental protection in communities.

On the other hand, in my opinion, the Green Olympics are not only in nature, but also in our minds, in our warm hearts, and in our great love. This year, I found the local environmental protection foundation is receiving donations from students, nurses, workers, and housewives. Some of them cannot afford to send the money but they do. Why? Because they care, because they want Mother Nature back, and because they know it can greatly benefit the Olympics.

The other night, as I saw the moon lingering over my place, the same picture of the successful night came to my mind. And the unforgettable night caused my stronger feeling that it's the time for us to do something, for our own Olympics and our bright future. So now, ladies and gentlemen, “What can I do for the Olympics?” The definite answer is doing what we can do, no matter who we are, and no matter where we go, to protect the environment and fight for the Olympics! Good luck with the Olympics and good luck to China!

Emily
